教学目标
1.能听、说、读、写单词taller，longer，older，younger，shorter。
2.能听懂句子:How tall are you? I’m 1.61 metres. I’m taller. You’re older than me, too.
3.能运用所学内容完成“Do a survey and report”任务。
4.能在课堂活动中运用所学的语言进行交际。
5.培养学生学习英语的兴趣，树立学生学习英语的信心。
教学重点
能够听、说、读、写5个形容词的比较级形式，并能在实际情境中运用。
教学难点
1.正确理解形容词比较级的意义。
2.能根据某一情境使用含有形容词比较级的句型替换描述。

教学过程
Step 1:Warm-up
1.日常口语问候。
2.谈话导入。（打开课件，播放人物图片，如果有本班学生的照片或者学生喜欢的明星的照片更好）
T: Look! I’m tall and strong. How about you?
S1:I’m thin and short. What’s your father like?
S2:My father is very strong. And he is taller and older than me.（复习形容词thin,short,tall,old,young及其比较级）
Step 2resentation
1.教学句型:How tall are you? I’m … metres. He’s / She’s … metres.
(1)T:how tall are you?
