A cheetah (猎豹) can run 70 miles per hour. Venus and Earth are about the same size. These are the facts I’ve learned from my 8-year-old son after he watched some TV shows. These TV shows include PBS kids, Nickelodeon, and Disney Junior. I have to admit that he has a good understanding of scientific facts right now.
The other day, when I talked about climate(气候) change with him, I was surprised. After a few more questions, I discovered that he’d never heard any of his favorite science TV shows mention climate change or global warming. My son can tell you everything you want to know about red pandas, except for the fact that they are endangered because of the climate change.
I reached out to the three TV shows to see if there was any truth about what my son had said.
